Goood old Garland, TX - $ 2.85 on the way in to work this morning - and then I saw that oil cleared for the first time US $ 100.00 a barrel. The ride-of-pain is not over.

We just paid $3.05 at Sam's yesterday in Lakeland and $3.06 for the other car last night in Plant City.

Filled up at $2.85 yesterday morning, here in Phoenix, Az.  Price seems to hover between that and $2.95....at least for the past month.  I guess with oil at $100.00+ per barrel I will probably see over $3.00 soon.  Oh well good thing I retired early, won't have to drive back and forth to work.  Now if I could just cut down on those shopping trips!

Around Lakeland today I read signs anywhere from $3.05 to $3.15.  Bruce on his way home today got gas for $3.00 in whatever county he drives through (I never remember).

Today we drove through Downtown Disney and gas there was $3.08.  We still had to buy -- our tank was empty and the light was on to tell us we MAY NOT get to Lakeland.
