Hi Folks,
We are back in the U.S. again. I have another boring story for you. We left the house in Ireland at 8:00 on Sunday Morning giving us plenty of time, but time goes very fast at airports. We checked in and Irish Airlines  told us told us that we were on their computer and everything was taken care of not exactly true. We went thru security and they were easy on us. We got to the gate and the plane was sitting on the tarmac with steps up to it "Great". We asked them how they would get me up the stairs. They said that they would take us up to the plane with a cherry picker, not true. They said that they would use an electric chair that climbs up the stairs. They went to lift me onto the chair and I thought that they were going to drop me. Well the chair wasn't too bad but it seems pretty high up there when you are looking down. It does actually climb the stairs by itself they just guide it
Well they got us up to the plane and went to tip the armrests back which we knew was not true. The head stewardess decided to put us in Executive Class which was very nice of course they had to lift me over the armrests. We had champaign, wine and then I had a shot of Black Bush Irish Whiskey.

The alcohol is the only thing that keeps me sane on a plane.......a bit expensive but worth every penny.  I really hate flying!!!!!

When it comes to air travel, I always think if I was a drinking person, I would have the booze for breakfast before I left home.But , I'm glad that Tom and Mary are safely at home and I bet they are too. Hopefully, you brought some great new memories with you when you landed.  

I can relate, Karen -- I'm not a drinking person myself and I don't like flying.  I don't like taking off, landing, and I just pray nothing goes wrong when I'm up there.

So glad to have you on American soil again....although Ireland is home also.  I know you had a grand time!!
