Another thought before Spitzer actually leaves office on Monday. Could he pardon himself on the way out the door??? It would not surprise me, the arrogant #@#$%&*#$.

Saw on Ch. 9 this morning the soon to be ex govenor's motorcade taking him to his farm in Columbia County.  Wasn't known if his family was with him.  Maybe he's got a girl stashed there.....

My favorite on the now ex-gov was the "Seperated at birth, Golum and his brother are now reunited" The pics selected for captioning were 'rather' twin-like.

At 1PM Monday, should we all have a little celebration? That is when Governor Paterson will be sworn in. Green beer for everyone!! Of course Hillary will be there as well as the NYC Mayor. I cannot believe that the Mayor is passing up St. Paddy's Day in NYC.Betty, I did hear that the Spitzer family accompanied "him" to Columbia county.Quality family time  

I'm ready for the 1PM celebration (except the part about Hillary being there).  Hope the Spitzers are having a great time "down on the farm" - separate bedrooms there too?

Here's wishing the new governor the best of luck.  Spitzer didn't get away as clean as Bill.  My goodness, people still say he is the most admired president.  Where did people's morals go????

Morals Pauline ?, they certainly have escaped many these days and we are all paying for it......some more than others. The NEW Governor Paterson's speech was good. Of course he had it memorized. I'm hearing lots of comments about the 2 parties cooperating to get the NYS budget done on time. We'll see.Betty, I know the media had to recognize the notables attending the Gov.'s ceremony but a certain female spoiled the coverage.

It would have been really nice if NYS could have gone 2 days in a row with good news. Not meant to be. The new Gov. Paterson decided to call a news conference today and with his wife explained way too much about their private married(+-) life.That was better than seeing it in the tabloids at a later date.Now, maybe they can get down to the desperate State budget business.

Since it would have come out anyway I think it was good strategy to for them to be right up front about it.  I'm beginning to think the oddity would be a politician who has NOT had an affair!!!
