The front page of the Post Star has a picture of one of the billboards that is being put up in this area regarding the search for Jaliek, also a story about the new search being conducted this Saturday.  Hope they find at least some clue.

This has been a long, sad ordeal.  I too hope that something is discovered and I hope the so called parents are locked up.

Betty, I saw one of the billboards on TV. Where are they located? Route 40??

It says in the paper that one is on RT 40 in Greenwich and one is on RT 40 in Easton.  I think I'll take a short ride this morning and see if I can find the one in Greenwich - Glen probably will see the one in Easton as he takes that route to Troy every day.  To be continued.....

Glen tells me that one of the billboards is across from the former Cristaldi dealership - Rt. 40 north and the other is by the former Allen farm machinery dealership on Rt. 40 South.  

The Schenectady Gazette had a story today about the search for Jaliek. That boy is not being forgotten as searchs are resuming in Washington County this weekend.

Had to pick up Glenda this afternoon and saw one of the billboads - it was farther up than where Glen said it was but very impressive. I'm talkin about Rt 40 NO.

Betty, I have been keeping up with this story, thanks to you and Sally Smith.  My heart goes out for this boy and those who truly love him.  The fact that taxpayers are still giving this man money is beyond belief!!!!

When this first happened it really hit our town hard.  I remember checking our out buildings, cellar, camper, etc.  Enen on my walks I'd be checking the banks of the Battenkill.  There are so many rumors, and some of them very gruesome.  I pray they aren't true and somehow he's still alive.

Betty, since you seem to be our local connection to the Jaliek situation, have you seen or heard the drones overhead? Bless that group of people from Texas (?) that have come to Washington County to search for that boy. Do you know if the donated $$ to the search is what is financing this search? It cannot come cheap.

Really don't know much more than I read in the papers (new article in the Post Star this morning about the drone) and see on TV.  They showed the drone on Ch 9 this morning - smaller than I would have figured.  I came across Bulson Rd. on my home yesterday and there were a bunch of vehicles by the Hegeman bridge.  The highway dept. truck was there, also someone in uniform. Now that I know about the drone, I think they may have been searching the field and cove that is behind Jodie's house.

Jodie saw a flock of turkey buzzards there last Sat. - imagine what we were thinking!!!

I would imagine the fund raisers and the donated money is financing it.

I heard on WGY this morning that they had a new search on the Battenkill yesterday using an air boat.  Nothing found as far as I know.  Imagine the parents are enjoying all of this because they probably know JUST where he is, at least I think the "father" does.  But they're still collecting the money, aren't they.
