Awww... I love lilacs and we don't have them here. It is 60 right now and thunderstorms are moving in. It won't get too warm today...might reach 70. Hope you have a great day.

My error -- went to answer Thure in Tuesday's weather so I thought I would put it here because this is Wednesday's weather. OK Thure. You know my point. "you can take off just so much clothing before it becomes indecent, but you can always put on layer after layer to keep yourself warm." Besides, there's nothing like cozying up in front of a fire; watching the snow fall; with a good book, cup of hot chocolate, and whomever. Now doesn't that sound lovely? It just doesn't seem the same when it's 72 degrees at 9:50 AM and then just continues to get hotter during the day. It has been in the 90s the last few days and supposed to reach 90 today. Staying in the low 70s with the ocean breeze would be so much better. Betty, I was so hoping I could stay longer to see the lilacs bloom in my backyard, but that didn't happen. But I sure love those trees Greenwich has lining the street and in front of Hannaford's. I googled "trees" and found some that look very much like them. They said they were Cleveland Pear trees. Do you know for sure? Enjoy your day everyone.

June - I have no idea what those trees are but they sure are pretty. We're leaving on our vacation Sat. so I'm going miss the rest of "lilac season". I'm going to stick some in the camper tho, they'll last for a while.
