Good morning CCSers. At this fine hour it is 73 outside and after daylight will start it's climb to 91 with T-storms in the area again.  We will see. ---- School will be out the end of ths month.  I asked one kid what Paul Revere said at the end of his famous ride and the student said "WHOA."  His mama has to be proud.

Bill, the temps in Texas are climbing just like the gas prices. While our furnace came on in the past hour,(outside temps at 48 right now) , we are expecting temps to be in the 70's today with sunny skies.

We have 38 here in the north country, but sunny and going up to 70.  Guess I'll fire up the pool heater for a while!!!

46 right now but suppose to reach 80.  The granddaughters were in the pool last night when I got home.  I might try getting in this weekend but it is still a little chilly for me.

   Hi everyone -- It's 86 degrees now here in Lakeland, FL.  The one thing that makes that bearable at times is that we always have a breeze off the east and west coasts.  Sometimes it's just too hot even with a breeze.  I met a lady in Saratoga when I was north who had lived in Florida but moved to Saratoga after her husband died.  She felt the same way I did -- "you can take off just so much clothing before it becomes indecent, but you can always put on layer after layer to keep yourself warm."  I was talking to someone yesterday who said their winters in Oregon were nothing but freezing rain and black ice, whereas the northeast at least got the beautiful snow.

OK Thure.  You know my point.   "you can take off just so much clothing before it becomes indecent, but you can always put on layer after layer to keep yourself warm." Besides, there's nothing like cozying up in front of a fire; watching the snow fall; with a good book, cup of hot chocolate, and whomever.  Now doesn't that sound lovely?  It just doesn't seem the same when it's 72 degrees at 9:50 AM and then just continues to get hotter during the day.  It has been in the 90s the last few days and supposed to reach 90 today. Staying in the low 70s with the ocean breeze would be so much better.
